publishes a list of the 500 fastest-growing private companies in America.

5. TNI surpassed $1 billion in commissions paid to distributors in September 2003. We have no knowledge of any company that has paid that amount of commissions to distributors in such a short time. This is an industry record and it will stand for a very long time.
6. TNI broke the 2 second barrier. Currently, a bottle of TAHITIAN NONI Juice is sold every 1.9 seconds, every hour, every day, every week.
7. TNI launched the first-ever weight management program developed specifically for mid-aged women. This program received the accolades of the nutritional products industry and was a major reason for our growth in 2003. 16. TNI opened a brand new model sales office facility in Fukuoka, Japan; this is also the site of the second

Some other interesting facts: Business Week, in their June 9, 2003, issue, created a list of their Hot 100 Growth Companies. This was a list of publicly held companies that met some very strict criteria of size, growth, and profitability. I invite you to go to your library to look up the issue and read the criteria yourself. The list of companies on this list is quite impressive. You would no doubt recognize companies like EBay, Coach Leather, Chico's, Columbia Sportswear, Panera Bread, Applebee's International, California Pizza Kitchen, and many more.
It is hard to apply their criteria to TNI exactly because we are not a public company, but using only size as a criteria, Tahitian Noni International would be #43 on this list.
Inc. 500. Here is an analysis conducted by Kelly Olsen, President of
Tahitian Noni International. "I conducted an interesting experiment. I took our 2002 total sales and subtracted this total number from our total 2003 sales. The result gave me the total amount of our growth in 2003. I then took this amount and checked it against the most recent Inc. 500 list just published. Comparing our growth amount in 2003 with the total sales of all companies on the Inc. 500 list, we would have been #81 on the list. This means that our growth amount alone would have exceeded the total sales of 419 companies on the Inc. 500 list. Do you want more? More from Inc. magazine. In the January 2004 issues of Inc., they showcase the entrepreneurs of the year.
